How to Make Your own Water Kefir at Home | After Purchase Live Water Grains

The Water Kefir is cost effective and easy to prepare at Home.Please do following steps to make the Perfect Healthy Water kefir drink at Home.




Important Note 

For Persons who will Receive the Grains through mail after 2-4 Days
Note: If you purchase and receive the live grains through mail for about 2-4 transit time,try to make kefir after you discard the solution present in the kefir grains package and do not drink for at least 2-3 batches,After 2-3 batches of fermentation,your water kefir grains will be ok to survive.


INGREDIENTS :

Live Organic Water Kefir Grains1 tbspn
Organic Sugar (can be Raw sugar,Refined white sugar,Palm sugar,Brown sugar)
1/2 cup

Organic Dried Fruits (can be sultanas /raisins/prunes/other dried fruit)                    
1 teaspoon

Mineral water 900 ml

Thick Glass jar 1

Muslin /cheese cloth  1

Rubber Band ( to tie cloth over glass Jar) 1


DIRECTIONS:


Step 1
Take a Clean,soap free,odour free thick Glass Jar,add 1/2 cup of organic sugar into it,add a bit of mineral water,mix it thoroughly until it dissolves completely.you can add a warm water to dissolve it properly,but make sure to keep it aside to cool down.

Step 2

Add the Fresh water kefir grains over the sugar solution,mix them gently them gently with wooden or plastic spoon.

NOTE(If you Purchase Live grains From Us through Mail)

* Get Ready with all your ingredients in hand before you receive the Grains through Mail, for the time period,you  collecting all the things, Please keep the package in a Fridge just for 10 minutes only to reback the grains to its suitable temperature (under 16 c is optimum to grow kefir grains well).

** Follow the Step in the Video, when you come to step adding your grains,on that moment it is recommended to discard the solution by filtering through plastic strainer.

Step 3

Cover with cheesecloth and tie with rubber band loosely,so it liberates carbon dioxide during fermentation process,so your kefir drink won't get taste like more alcoholic taste.

Step4  Fermentation Process

Let the covered Glass jar rest for 24   or 48  or 72 hours in a dark room or in your wooden cupboard.Please Do not forget to take it back.The more you allow to ferment,you will get the strong flavour.

*In  Summer,try to ferment for just 10 -20 hours

Step 5  Make the  Grains for your Next Fermentation Process

After 10-24 hours fermentation,take a plastic strainer,strain the kefir grains and water separately again you follow the same procedure from Step 1 to make next batch of Water Kefir

(*)Try adding more flavour to your primary fermented drink,It can be accompanied with  3 sliced Ginger or  1 Cinnamon sticks or thinly sliced Fruits like apples,lemon,pear after you straining the live grains from the primary fermentation.

Keep the fermented kefir drink with fruits alone, Rest for another 24 hours to enjoy the Fruit flavoured drink
